Road Trip!

My sweet husband suggested that I spend last week with my family...so we did! It was a nice break and felt so good to be "home" in GA again. Several of "Nana's" friends and some other family members were able to meet Caitlyn. We had a nice, relaxing time and Caitlyn received plenty of attention. My mom said last night on the phone that her house was too quiet after we left.

Caitlyn traveled pretty well. There were a couple of times of crying because she was tired of the carseat but, overall, she did great. We'd stop every couple of hours for a feeding and change. Then she'd fall asleep for about an hour or two while we drove. On our way back home, I figured out that she loves for me to read to her in the van. So we'll pack a ton of books next month!

We're looking forward to going back to GA for Thanksgiving! Caitlyn will spend some more time with Nana & Papa, get to meet--and be passed around--a houseful of relatives, spend some time with Grandmama & Grandaddy, and get to meet her Nonee (great-grandmother) for the first time. It should be a fun trip.

Three Months Old!

Caitlyn is changing soooo much! She can now hold toys in her hands (and put them in her mouth!). She is drooling everywhere and knaws her hands a lot so we think that she might be teething...already! She coos and squeals and loves talking to whoever will listen!

Blog Redecorating!

Since it's October, it's time for a new theme! Caitlyn's first Halloween will be here before we know it. She's going to be adorable in her costume (if she's not screaming because she hates it!).
